This was the crux of views expressed by lawyers and journalists at the Academia Forum session organised by research-based consultancy organisation - Individualland Pakistan on Tuesday.
Faisalabad General Secretary District Bar Association Azhar Haneef Khan said media reforms are essential because where there is information, there is enlightenment. He added that with the help of these media reforms there would able awareness regarding rule of law and corruption.
A participant was of the view that the session had enlightened me on media reforms and attending this discussion was a great experience for me. The Individualland Pakistan started working on an initiative with the aim to build the capacity of the media houses on media security and ethics.
