ISLAMABAD: Facebook has launched online training courses for journalists, focusing on the three core pillars of the news cycle: discovering content, creating stories and building an audience.

The courses are available through Blueprint, Facebook's global training programme.

Facebook threatens LinkedIn with new job opening features

Journalists – who want to learn about the most popular social media network’s products, tools and services to use in their work – can access free e-learning courses. Each module contains case studies in journalism as well as best practices and guidelines from Facebook.

To access these courses, users would need to link their Facebook account to Exceed LMS, the third-party learning management system that powers Blueprint.

The platform also offers a guide for journalists explaining how to get started on Facebook or simply grow their presence. It is also starting a series of webinars tailored to journalists.
