PMDC Acting Registrar Dr Syed Azhar Ali Shah said the cell had been formed to address complaints of students seeking admissions in public and private medical and dental colleges for the year 2016-2017.
According to the new admission policy, private medical and dental colleges are bound to charge Rs642,000, but ‘overheads’ such as examination fees, taxes, hostel fees and transport were not included in this.
Complaints about private medical and dental colleges charging more money than the prescribed amount can be lodged on the PMDC website.
