Speeding truck: One killed in road accident
The truck driver managed to flee the scene in his vehicle

One man was killed while another was injured in a road accident on National Highway near Qazi Wah, Ghotki district, on Sunday. According to sources, two labourers were travelling in a rickshaw to Sukkur from Mirpur Mathelo. When they reached near Qazi Wah, a speeding truck hit the rickshaw. As a result, Niaz Ahmed Samejo was killed on the spot and Liaquat Ali Malik was injured. However, the truck driver managed to flee the scene in his vehicle. Residents shifted the body and the injured to Civil Hospital, Mirpur Mathelo, but no case was registered. Arrests have yet to be made.
