Couple, two others killed 15 days after court marriage
KHAIRPUR:
A couple and two men who promised to give them shelter were killed in village Naro Dhoro, tehsil Kot Diji, 15 days after the couple got married.
Azizullah Chanar, 24, and Hasna Chanar, 22, got married at the court against the wishes of Hasna’s family. The elders of their village gave the couple protection and one of the elders, Shahnawaz, allowed the two to live at Muhammad Ali Chanar’s house in the same village. Unidentified men entered Ali’s house on Monday and shot him dead along with the newly married couple.
The suspects also followed Shahnawaz for some distance and later killed him too. They managed to flee after killing the four people. The police have handed over the bodies to the families after the autopsies were conducted.
