ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) acquitted on Thursday a person allegedly involved in a murder case after hearing detailed arguments of the counsel of the appellant. Tahir Nomi, through his counsel Saifullah Sarohi, challenged the decision of the lower court which awarded him life imprisonment. Justice Mohsan Akhtar Kiani acquitted Nomi as his counsel argued that nothing was recovered from his client. He said the lower court had already acquitted other nominated suspects in the case. He added that the weapon used in the crime was recovered from another house, which had no connection with his client.
