MULTAN: A man killed his wife in Muzaffargarh district on Tuesday. Police said Rafiq Dahar tortured his wife Zaneeza, 23, over a dispute and later poisoned her to death. Police said the suspect fled the scene after the incident. Meanwhile, victim’s father Altaf Hussain Goraha told The Express Tribune that Rafique and Zaneeza had a love marriage in November 2015. He added Rafique used to torture his daughter over petty issues. He said Rafique’s family called him and said that his daughter Zaneeza had committed suicide by drinking poison. Altaf maintained, “My daughter called me a couple of days before his death and said that her life is in danger.”
