KARACHI:
A paramilitary Rangers personnel was shot dead by his colleague late on Saturday night when a scuffle broke out between the two in Karachi.
“A fight broke out between two Rangers personnel near Shahrah-e-Faisal police station late Saturday... Ali Murtaza gunned down Mashooq Ali,” police sources told The Express Tribune on Sunday.
Rangers take into custody three MQM-London leaders
The sources confirmed that Murtaza had been handed over to police by Pakistan Rangers Sindh, and an FIR was registered against him at Shahrah-e-Faisal police station under Section 302 of the Pakistan Penal Code, on request of an official of the paramilitary force.
Meanwhile, the victim's body was shifted to Jinnah hospital for examination after death.
