Need more proof that Oscar de la Renta’s timeless designs can work on women of all ages? Look no further than Taylor Swift and Amal Alamuddin, who have been spotted in the same outfits by the designer multiple times. As compiled from Instyle, here is how the two power women brought out their fashion A-game.
Both ladies recently donned a floral number from the design house, which featured short sleeves, a cinched waist and a bright red flower pattern accented with pops of blue and chartreuse. The Bad Blood hit maker gave the dress a youthful spin by teaming it with green pumps and an Elie Tahari cross-body bag in the same shade. Swift’s bright red pout finished off the ultra-feminine look. Mrs. Clooney, on the other hand, paired the dress with a white Ferragamo fringed handbag, yellow ballet flats and a pair of cat-eye sunglasses for a look that was decidedly more grown up. If this had been a who wore it best competition, we’d call this a draw.
On another occasion, both style icons looked glamorous as ever in a gingham Oscar de la Renta pencil dress. And, not only did they sport matching outfits, they were both seen carrying red bags too. Swift chose to complete her look with a pair of brown boot heels while Amaluddin opted for navy blue peep toes. The latter definitely hit our top list with this one!
