HARIPUR: An absconding killer, allegedly involved in the murder of five members of his in- laws family, six years back was arrested by the police on Sunday.

The court has also granted two day physical remand of the accused on Monday.

The accused identified as Tahir Gul, son of Gul Rehman, resident of Mohallah New Qaziyan, gunned down his father-in-law, mother-in -law, sister-in-law and two brother-in-laws after a marital dispute some six years back. Gul had divorced his wife a week before committing the crime.

According to details, the suspect remained at large for six years. However the police arrested him two days back after receiving an intelligence tip-off that he has returned home.
