Karsaz blast anniversary: PPP-Lahore convoy leaves for Karachi

LAHORE: A convoy of workers of Pakistan Peoples Party left Lahore on Saturday by road to join the Karsaz rally that will start from Bilawal House in Karachi on October 16. Ex-secretary information PPP Lahore Faisal Mir saw off the convoy led by Dr Zarrar Yusaf, Aqib Sarwar and Shahzad Shafi. The vehicles were decorated with pictures of slain PPP chairperson Benazir Bhutto as well as workers who died in the Karsaz blast of October 18, 2007. The convoy will join PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari at the Karsaz rally on October 18 to pay tribute to the martyrs of the tragic blast.
