Pakistan thrash China in Azlan Shah

Pakistan’s hockey team registered their first win in the Azlan Shah Cup on Sunday as they beat China 6-2.
For the greenshirts, Mohamad Zubair and Haseem Khan scored a brace each, taking them to fourth place in the standings. Pakistan earlier drew against Malaysia 3-3 and lost to arch rivals India 4-2 before they thrashed China, bagging their first win since Khwaja Junaid’s appointment as their coach after the World Cup debacle.
Meanwhile, defending champions India beat Asian Champions South Korea 3-2 to go to the top of the standings with seven points after three matches.
