Disabled cricket: Jahanzaib Tiwana named Pakistan captain

England, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and India other teams in Five-Nation International Cricket Tournament

KARACHI: All-rounder Jahanzaib Tiwana will lead Pakistan Disabled Cricket Team in the second edition of the Five-Nation International Cricket Tournament which commences from October 19 in UAE.

Last year’s inaugural edition, organised by the International Committee of the Red Cross in Bangladesh, was clinched by England with Pakistan finishing as runners-up.

Apart from the two finalists, the disabled cricket teams of Bangladesh, Afghanistan and India will also be seen in action during the upcoming tournament.

The chosen players will now be put through a training camp at the National Stadium of Karachi under the auspices of the Pakistan Cricket Board.
