Beautification plan: PHA to build recreational spot for passengers

MULTAN: The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) will establish a recreational spot on the green belt and service road near general bus stand to provide facilities to the passengers.

A PHA spokesperson said encroachment and 45 illegal constructions had been demolished from the green belt and service road during a grand operation. The site has been handed over to PHA for making recreational spot for passengers.

He said in this regard, the work would commence after December. The spokesperson maintained as part of the plan, the PHA had decided to install water turbine, benches and landscaping in the green belt.

He further said work on metro bus route would be completed by end of December, while landscaping and plantation of saplings at metro bus route was in final stages. He pointed out that PHA had announced 21 sites of the city for auction for publicity boards.
