The suspect, identified as Tahir Mehmood, was arrested by Anti-Car Lifting Cell (Aclc) of the Islamabad Police. They also recovered a stolen black-yellow cab.
According to the police, the suspect had put a fake number plate on the car.
Police records show that Mehmood has also previously been booked by the police in two separate theft and robbery cases.
