Unpaid pension: Former SHO takes police dept to court
The petitioner through his counsel said there were no criminal cases against his client

The Lahore High Court has expressed dismay over the non-payment of pension to a retired SHO and sought written reply from the Punjab police chief. Muhammad Aslam, who retired three years ago, claimed he had not received anything since the day he retired.
The petitioner through his counsel said there were no criminal cases against his client but despite that he was not given his pension and other benefits. He requested the court to order the authorities to pay him his pension dues and other benefits.
