Mehwish Hayat Punjab Nahin Jaongi leading lady, Humayun Saeed confirms

This will be the third time that they will be paired together after Jawani Phir Nahin Ani and Dillagi.

Humayun Saeed has confirmed that the ethereal Mehwish Hayat will be seen opposite him in his upcoming production Punjab Nahin Jaongi.

The pair first came together for Jawani Phir Nahin Ani followed by Dillagi. Both have become fan favorites for their sizzling on-screen chemistry.



Punjab Nahin Jaongi also marks the third collaboration between Humayun, Mehwish and director Nadeem Baig. Khalilur Rehman has penned the movie's script.

"She is a wonderful actor and working with her is always a delight. Our last project together Dillagi received a phenomenal response and I am looking forward to working with her again," Humayun said while speaking about his working relationship with Mehwish.

An excited Mehvish said, “I am extremely excited about being cast in Punjab Nahin Jaongi. It’s my third collaborative project with Nadeem and Humayun. The script by Khalil is definitely a cherry on the top. I can’t disclose much about my role yet but I can say that people who loved JPNA and Dillagi…Punjab Nahin Jaongi will be a treat for them."
