KARACHI: Leadership of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Sindh chapter criticised the federal government for not showing seriousness in Panama Paper scandal, while addressing a press conference on Thursday.

PTI leaders Arif Alvi, Haleem Adil Sheikh and Karachi president Firdous Shamim Naqvi addressed the conference and said that they will continue with the Raiwind March on September 30. Alvi criticised the government institutions and said they failed to probe corruption cases. Whether it was the Federal Board of Revenue, National Accountability Bureau or Federal Investigation Agency, all these institution tried their best to save the government, he said.

Alvi said that the PTI will bring up the matter by organising rallies. Referring to Finance Minister Ishaq Dar’s unusual efficiency in addressing the Bahamas Leaks issue, Alvi said that the reason behind this is that no politician has been found involved in this as yet except for businessmen, which is why the government has been issuing notices to them.
