Law and order: Muharram arrangements reviewed
Rana Sanaullah directed the divisional and district administrations to devise a solid and comprehensive strategy

Punjab Cabinet Committee for Law and Order headed by Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan reviewed the Muharram arrangements on Wednesday.
Punjab Home Secretary Maj (R) Azam Suleman, IG Mushtaq Sukhera, MPA Jahangir Khanzada and Special Branch Additional IG Faisal Shahkar were included in the committee which held a meeting with divisional, districts and police administrations.
Rana Sanaullah directed the divisional and district administrations to devise a solid and comprehensive strategy to make the Muharram arrangements successful.
He said foolproof security arrangements should be taken. He added ‘Peace March’ should be arranged in which parliamentarians, local bodies’ representatives, members of peace committee and civil society should participate to highlight the message of sense of protection and religious harmony.
