Subsequently, ASI Margalla Police Station Sharafat Hussain arrested four thieves including Mudassir Zia, Abid Hussain, Shahid Ullah, and Abdul Rasheed.
Moreover, dry batteries worth Rs500,000 were recovered from their possession.
Meanwhile, a Shams Colony police team arrested a suspected robber Habib Ullah and recovered a stolen motorcycle from him. The police team also arrested Liaqat Khan for allegedly possessing fake currency worth Rs92,000.
ASI Imran Haider of Secretariat Police Station arrested an accused Qismat Ullah, a former driver of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and allegedly recovered a stolen government vehicle from his possession.
ASIs Rafaqat Hussain and Imran arrested three suspects identified as Wahid Takhleeq, Zahid Takhleeq and Kazim Ali.
Afghan currency worth almost one million as well as fake currency worth Rs300,000 was also allegedly recovered from the accused.
Furthermore, the CIA police recovered a firearm along with ammunition from the possession of an arrested accused Usman.
Golra police arrested two accused identified as Manzoor Ali and Akbar, and allegedly recovered two 30-bore pistols along with ammunition.
Meanwhile, Shalimar police arrested Umar Shahbaz allegedly in possession of a 30-bore pistol. Said Gul, Khan Khalid and Ikram Ullah were arrested by the Sihala police for allegedly possessing stolen goods.
