Overcoming challengesl: MoU signed on urban planning

PESHAWAR: An MoU has been signed between Water and Sanitation Services Peshawar (WSSP) and National Institute of Urban Infrastructure Planning (UEP), UET, Peshawar to conduct research and analysis in urban planning. This was stated in a handout issued on Friday. On the occasion, the vice chancellor of UET said there was a pressing need for collaboration among research and education institutes. He added the MoU will not only help WSSP employees improve their skills but also help resolve urban planning problems. According to MoU, UET will guide WSSP employees in research work and will be responsible for creating post graduate study opportunities for WSSP employees. On the other hand, WSSP will provide data to UEP, UET to help students in their research and analysis.
