ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police have arrested seven outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered tempered car, weapons and looted items from their possession, a police spokesman said.

Bhara Kau police nabbed Habib and Shahab uddin for carrying a 30-bore pistol and a 12-bore gun respectively, while Kohsar police apprehended an errant driver Ishtiaq.

Aabpara police nabbed an alleged thief, Sabir Ali, and recovered stolen items from him, while Ramna police nabbed Salamat alias Ejaz for his alleged involvement in a robbery incident.

Cases have been registered against the nabbed persons and further investigation is underway. Meanwhile, five professional alm-seekers were also held from various areas of the city.
