Sohaib to lead Pakistan A’ on Zimbabwe tour

Ijaz Ahmed has been appointed head coach while Saleem Jaffer will assist him

Batsman Sohaib Maqsood has been appointed captain of the Pakistan A’ team that will play two four day games and five one day matches on their tour of Zimbabwe.

The team will depart for their 26 day tour on September 23. Besides Sohaib, promising youngsters Jaahid Ali, Fakhar Zaman, Saud Shakil, Mohammad Asghar, Shadab Khan, Hayatullah, Mir Hamza, Saad Ali, Saiffullah Bangash, Azizullah and Ghulam Muddassar are part of the 16 member squad that also includes international players Umar Amin and Ehsan Adil.
