Nouman Javaid, Jana Malik set to tie the knot

The last time news about singer Nouman Javaid surfaced, he was optimistic about his relationship with Fariha Pervez and promised to put in every effort to keep holding on. So much so, that he had stated he will wait till his last breath for Fariha. Fast forward two months and the Dard-e-Tanhai crooner seems to have forgotten all his past statements – only recently making his marriage to film actor Jana Malik official.

This is Javaid’s second marriage. “My parents made me meet Jana on August 10. It is an arranged marriage,” Nouman told The Express Tribune. “All my functions were held in Lahore, and I only invited close friends and family.”
Justifying his split with Fariha, Javaid shared he tried his best to win her back after his attempted suicide, but she was not willing to listen. However, it is important to mention that Fariha has filed for divorce in court, but it has not gone through yet.

Speaking about Fariha, he added, “I could not wait any longer, nor waste my life over a girl who did not think about me. I have chosen Jana as my life partner.” Nouman mentioned he is finding it hard to get back on track with his career and struggling with music and film projects. “I am hoping this marriage will be fruitful. I request others to never ask me about Fariha because I will never openly speak about her”.
