Dengue: Three more cases surface in Pindi

Three more patients, who were admitted to the Holy Family Hospital, were confirmed on Thursday to be dengue positive, taking the toll to 57 this year. The hospital received reports about eight dengue patients from the National Institute of Health, and of them, three were confirmed dengue positive. All the three patients, whose names could not be ascertained immediately, were residents of Rawalpindi. Meanwhile, Assistant Commissioner City Maliha Jamal directed officials of the Water and Sanitation Agency to promptly take up complaints received from different union councils about puddles, standing water and open gutters.
