Amjad sabri’s killing: Rangers arrest two suspects in Sukkur  

Locals claimed that Afsar is the nephew of Muttahida Qaumi Movement MPA Saleem Bandhani

SUKKUR: A heavy contingent of Rangers personnel raided a house on Tuesday night in New Goth, situated within A-Section police limits, Sukkur, and arrested two suspects, said to be members of a political party. According to law-enforcement officials, a heavy contingent of the paramilitary force cordoned off the entire New Goth area on Tuesday night and raided a house, from which they arrested two suspects, identified as Afsar Bandhani and Ateeq. They were then shifted to an undisclosed location. Locals claimed that Afsar is the nephew of Muttahida Qaumi Movement MPA Saleem Bandhani and Ateeq is a Karachi resident. They also alleged that they have been arrested for their involvement in the murder of qawwal Amjad Sabri. MPA Bandhani and the Sindh Rangers spokesperson were not available for comments. Police claimed a number of times the arrest of Sabri’s suspected killers in Karachi recently but the reports turned out to be false.
