Sialkot: SNGPL trying to improve gas pressure

The Sui Northern Gas Pipelines (SNGPL) is making adequate efforts for improving gas pressure in the city, said Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) President Mansoor Ahmed. Talking to reporters, following a meeting with SNGPL Regional Officer, he said under the programme special attention would be given to improving gas supply to Sialkot Cantonment on priority basis. The Regional Sui Gas office had become operational in Sialkot to resolve the problems confronted by the consumers of the area, Mansoor said. For this purpose, SNGPL was laying a 17 km long gas pipeline in Badiana to improve the gas supply in Sialkot Cantonment area and this project would be accomplished in four months, he added. The SCCI President further stated that an 8km long Sui gas pipe was being laid in Moutra area for providing gas to Sambrial area and development work is in full swing.
