Shaheen Air International has refuted a news report about an emergency landing involving one of its aircraft at Benazir Bhutto International Airport on Monday evening (Aug 29). In a rebuttal, a spokesperson for the airline termed the news item “Technical anomaly: Aircraft makes emergency landing”, published in The Express Tribune’s Islamabad pages and on its digital platforms, as “false and fabricated”.  The spokesperson said, “It is also very surprising to see that the flight number mentioned in the news item was of another private airline, and despite that, Shaheen Air’s name was used.”
