An additional district and sessions judge on Saturday sought comments from the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) director on a petition seeking a case against a man for defrauding the petitioner.
Muzaffar Iqbal submitted that he had paid Waqas Rs350,000 for sending his son, Usman, to Malaysia and to help him get a job. He said Waqas had later refused to arrange a job for Usman. He said his son was later arrested for overstaying in Malaysia. He requested the court to direct the FIA to register a case against Waqas. He also sought help for the release of his son.
