Just like Taylor Swift and Kanye West before her, singer Barbra Streisand too has had a disagreement with Apple, although her issues have little to do with the tech giant’s service.

Instead, Streisand has lodged a complaint to Apple CEO Tim Cook about how Siri pronounces her last name incorrectly, reported The Rolling Stone.

Streisand has related a story during her recent concerts, as well as online, about becoming upset with how Apple’s in-phone “intelligent personal assistant” stresses upon the second ‘s’ in her last name, making is sound like a ‘z,’ to say ‘Streizand’.

“She pronounces my name wrong,” Streisand said in a recent interview, after demonstrating the mispronunciation on an iPhone. “Streisand is with a soft ‘s’. I’ve been saying this for my whole career!”

But rather than sitting back and letting Siri mispronounce her name, she used her clout to fix the problem and have Siri re-programmed. “And so, what did I do? I called the head of Apple, Tim Cook, and he delightfully agreed to have Siri change the pronunciation of my name. Finally!” the singer added. “With the next update on September 30 … Let us see if that happens because I will be thrilled.”

Streisand has been in the news recently, on account of the release of her latest album Encore: Movie Partners Sing Broadway, which comes out on August 26. Encore features her duets with actors such as Jamie Foxx, Chris Pine, Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway, Daisy Ridley, Alec Baldwin, Melissa McCarthy and more. She is also currently touring to promote the album.
