FAISALABAD:
A man allegedly set two of his younger brothers on fire early on Monday for refusing to give him money in Faisalabad's Batla Colony.

Mushtaq reportedly demanded Rs500 from his brothers Muhammad Umar and Abu Bakr. He sprinkled petrol on them and set them on fire when they refused. Later, Mushtaq set himself ablaze too.

According to reports, the three have been shifted to Allied Hospital where Abu Bakr and Umar  are said to be out of danger. Mushtaq is not critical either.

Initial investigations revealed that the family had been misreporting the incident. Police claimed Mushtaq, a rickshaw driver, was an alcoholic and was not in his senses when he attacked his brothers.

In April, a man allegedly sprinkled kerosene on his daughter and her two children and set them alight in Chak Jhumra area. They had apparently had an argument over property.
