At least three persons were injured on Thursday at a busy bakery near Rawat after an impatient customer, who was told to wait for his turn, opened fire in the direction of the baker.
The Sihala police said that three men who had come on a motorcycle had ordered some bread from a nanbai (baker) in Zaraj housing scheme. While the bakers were filling orders placed by customers who had come earlier, the motorcyclists got annoyed and demanded that they be served first.
Property Dispute: Six injured in Nowshera
After a short argument, the motorcyclists opened indiscriminate fire and injured three persons, including a security guard. They then fled on the same motorcycle.
Meanwhile, unidentified persons opened fire at a clinic in Garden Town on Thursday and injured one person, later identified as Dr Haider.
The Khanna Police said that the victim was taken to Pims for treatment.
Separate cases have been registered at the respective police stations.
