Surprise visit: Chandio takes notice of absent staff

KARACHI: Information adviser Maula Bux Chandio visited on Tuesday different directorates and sections of the information department. He also checked the roll of employees and officers on duty and ordered strict action, including issuing show-cause notices, to officers and officials who were absent from duty and late to work. He appreciated the presence of all staff of Press Information Directorate well in time and appreciated press information director Zeenat Jehan for observing punctuality and discipline. The adviser was accompanied by information secretary Aijaz Ahmed Memon and other officials.
