The new website has a clean, uncluttered design, improved functionality and enhanced rich content focused on the SECP’s mission to facilitate the development of modern and efficient corporate sector and capital market, based on sound regulatory principles.
The website has extensive content related to formation of a new company, licensing regime for profit organisations, capital markets, insurance and non-banking financial companies, latest market data and information and complete range of laws, rules, regulations that the SECP governs. Besides, the latest notifications, circulars, directives enforcement action and orders of the Appellate Bench could be seen on the website.
Furthermore, the visitors can lodge complaints online, search /verify registered companies and log in to the SECP’s eService, Virtual One Stop Shop (VOSS) and Jamapunji portal.
The bilingual website is in accordance with SECP’s policy to implement Urdu as its official language. The Urdu section of the website provides comprehensive information on company formation, compliance requirements, licensing procedures and Urdu versions of laws, rules, regulations and guidebooks.

It is worth mentioning here that the SECP has translated all of its laws, except the Companies Ordinance 1984, which is being replaced.
The website layout is compatible with all types of browsers and mobile devises and is integrated with social media i.e. Facebook and Twitter.
