PPP remains committed to the ideals of Quaid-e-Azam who believed in safeguarding minorities, says CM
KARACHI:
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Wednesday said the provincial government is “committed to protecting minorities” and added that “it is mindful of their considerable contribution towards building and sustaining a prosperous Sindh”.

In a message issued by the CM House, the chief minister said: “The Pakistan Peoples Party remains committed to the ideals of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah who believed in safeguarding minorities. “We are, in essence, protecting the true spirit of Pakistan. Our commitment to the rights of minorities has been an integral part of our core priorities.”
The chief minister said at this juncture in our nation’s history, we must strive to develop and maintain interfaith harmony, which is imperative to our peaceful coexistence.

“Today, it is more important than ever to look back and hold tight to the words of our Quaid: Pakistan’s future depends entirely on our ability to let go of personal differences in beliefs, and work together with unity, faith and discipline.”
