Deadly collisions: Two dead, 10 injured in DI Khan  

One of the deceased was identified as Saifur Rehman while the identity of the other could not be ascertained



PESHAWAR/ DI KHAN: At least two people died while 10 others were injured in a road accident in DI Khan on Wednesday.

An official of the Kulachi police station told The Express Tribune the incident occurred on DI Khan-Tank road in Hathala.

A pickup loaded with fruits and vegetable was on its way to DI Khan when it collided with a car moving in the opposite direction.

“As a result, two people died while 10 people were wounded,” he added.

One of the deceased was identified as Saifur Rehman while the identity of the other could not be ascertained.

Separately, a man died after he was shot by a stray bullet within the jurisdiction of Yarak police station in DI Khan. Police said the deceased has been identified as 35-year-old Ghulam Sabir.
