Targeted raids: Rangers arrest eight suspects
The spokesperson added that weapons and ammunitions were also recovered from their possession

The Rangers claim to have arrested over half-a-dozen suspects during ongoing targeted raids in the metropolis on Sunday. According to the Rangers’ spokesperson, the paramilitary force conducted targeted raids in Landhi, Shah Faisal Colony, Baldia and Liaquatabad and apprehended around eight suspected criminals. Three of the arrested suspects are said to be affiliated with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s militant wing and have allegedly been involved in illegal weapon handling and targeted killings. Three suspected militants from banned outfits and alleged extortionists are also among the arrested suspects. The spokesperson added that weapons and ammunitions were also recovered from their possession. The suspects were shifted to an undisclosed location for further questioning.
