
He was speaking at the condolence reference for Khan held at Karachi Press Club on Wednesday. Appreciating Khan's struggle against dictators, he said Khan was an asset who taught us to remain steadfast with our ideologies.
We should not forget that Khan's wife also played an important role in his political struggles, remarked Baloch intellectual Mir Muhammad Ali Talpur. We need to stand together against the tyranny and for this we need to get rid of the labels of 'leftists', 'rightist' or 'centre'. "We will fight and win against our oppressors."
Khan always remained anti-establishment and challenged the status-quo, said leftist leader Abdul Khaliq Junejo. He added that when Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was struggling against the dictators Khan stood next to him, but when Bhutto became the part of establishment he left him stood next to the workers.
The leftists have been scattered and we need to revisit our thoughts and unite under one platform, said former Baluchistan chief minister Abdul Malik Baloch.

"Till tyranny continues to exist Khan's thought and slogans will keep echoing in our ears," remarked Yousuf Matti Khan from Awami workers Party. We need to unite against the imperialist policies, he said, adding that government should focus on development rather than benefitting few investors.
When Khan was a labour minister he gave respect to the working class, said industrialist Haji Nazim. Khan's motivational speeches were a treat to the ears, he added.
Former Jamaat-i-Islami amir Munawar Hassan remarked that despite ideological differences, Khan and I still used to drink a cup of tea together.
Speaking about the future, National Students Federation's Punjab president Hisaamul Haq said "If future leadership comes out from students, workers, labourers and peasants it will change the fate of the country."
