ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry Senior Vice President Sheikh Pervez Ahmed on Tuesday stressed that First Women Bank Limited (FWBL) should focus on providing easy credit facility to women entrepreneurs in order to help them start new businesses and expand existing ones. He said this while exchanging views with FWBL Branch Manager Yasmin Niazi during her visit to the ICCI. Both organisations discussed how to work jointly for the economic empowerment of women by facilitating them in promoting business activities. Ahmed said women comprised half of Pakistan’s population and sustainable economic development required maximum participation of women in business and economic activities.
