Nabbed: Two suspects in Amjad Sabri murder case held

The suspects, according to the sources, left Karachi after the murder of Amjad Sabri last month

The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) officials arrested two men suspected to be involved in Qawal Amjad Sabri murder case, sources in the police told The Express Tribune on Monday

According to the sources, a CTD team from Karachi with the help of the Mandar police in a pre-dawn raid at a house in Dhoke Bhamp in Gujar Khan arrested two brothers Ahmed Ali and Ghulam Mustafa.

The police had also recovered laptops and weapons from their custody.

The suspects, according to the sources, left Karachi after the murder of Amjad Sabri last month.

They hired a house for rent from Malik Riaz who is said to be a driver of a high government official, near Kalyam Awan in Gujar Khan Tehsil of Rawalpindi District.

The Mandra Police SHO Ishtiaq Cheema, when contacted for confirmation, said that he had no knowledge of the raid.
