Training: Journalists trained on safety measures

Media professionals should observe necessary safety measures and protect their lives, while reporting on sensitive issues from dangerous areas.

This was stated by Waseem Abbasi on Tuesday at concluding session of a two-day training programme on “Safety of journalists in Pakistan” organised by the Centre for Peace and Development Initiatives.

Master trainers Abbasi and Faisal Munir conducted the programme. Journalists from Islamabad and Fata were trained.
