Documents issues: Seventeen passengers offloaded

ISLAMABAD:  

At least 17 passengers were offloaded on Monday at the Benazir Bhutto International Airport due to incomplete  travel documents.

FIA sources said that five passengers identified as Zulfiqar, Hameed, Sardar, Mazhar and Awais were barred from traveling to Sudan.

Pervaiz, who was booked on a Saudi Arabia-bound flight but was offloaded for an expired visa.

Abdullah was booked on a Dubai-bound flight but was offloadeed for discrepancies on his passport.

Hikmat Hoti, Huma Shad and Hareem Fatima were offloaded for not obtaining exit certificates.

Zahid, who was booked on a South Africa-bound flight, was offloaded as his visa had not been verified.

Similarly, Tauqeer, Khalida Bibi, Awais, Riaz Ali, Wazeer Khan and Kausar were offloaded as they had not completed departure documentation.
