HYDERABAD:
The widespread perception of differences between the army and the federal government is unnerving the people of Pakistan, particularly the business community.

This was stated by Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) provincial leader Pir Yasir Shah Rashdi at a press conference at his residence in Hyderabad on Sunday.

"As I see, the Nawaz-league's performance is not good," said Rashdi whose party is an ally of the federal government run by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).

"The PML-N government is building roads but it has failed to address other problems like electricity despite its promises of resolving the issue in two to three years [after coming to power]," he claimed.

The PML-F leader also smelled a conspiracy between the PML-N and Pakistan Peoples Party when it comes to conducting accountability of corrupt politicians and bureaucrats in the Sindh government.

"Nawaz Sharif and [Asif Ali] Zardari are one. Both are running the whole system together," he said, adding that the people are concerned by the sudden slowing down of National Accountability Bureau's actions in Sindh.
