KARACHI: The police have yet to find the family of the unidentified 12-year-old girl found dead on Saturday at Ghazi Goth. The body, found wrapped in a plastic bag, was later taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where it was established that it was at least a month old. It appears the girl was killed using a sharp object, informed a hospital official, requesting anonymity. "The doctors have collected the samples and a medical report would be prepared in at least a week," the official said. The police then shifted the body to the Edhi morgue in Sohrab Goth and are trying to locate the girl's family. "We do not have any missing girl FIR registered in our police station," informed Manghopir SHO Ghulam Hussain Korai. A murder case has been registered on behalf of the state against unidentified persons, he added.
