ISLAMABAD: The police have also arrested and obtained physical remand of a proclaimed offender wanted to
police in a fraud and forgery case.

Arshad Nazeer, the suspect, was booked by the Margalla Police on July 6th last year for allegedly preparing fake surety bonds on a fake national identity card.

The suspect was arrested on Monday and produced before Judicial Magistrate Jawad Hussain Adil on Tuesday.

Two accomplices of the suspect — Abdul Hameed and Khurram Awais — have already been arrested and sent to Adiala Jail.

Police sought a five-day physical remand of the suspect for investigation and recovery of the fake identity card.

The court, however, granted the police two-day custody of the suspect and directed them to produce him before the court on July 14th.
