LAHORE:
The Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) approved two development schemes at an estimated cost of Rs22.5 billion on Tuesday. These schemes were approved in the second meeting of the PDWP of fiscal year 2016-17. Planning and Development Board Chairman Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan presided over the meeting. Planning and Development Secretary Iftikhar Ali Sahoo and other members also attended the meeting. The approved development schemes are: the Public Building Sector scheme of Acquisition of Land for Expansion of Punjab Forensic Science Agency Thokar Niaz Baig, Lahore (Rs333.4 million); and Health Sector scheme of Expanded Programme on Immunisation (EPI) (Rs22,262.63 million).
