
Unidentified police in civvies shot dead Abrar Sunday night following his scuffle with a mobile phone snatcher.
All four suspects were produced before an anti-terrorism court in Karachi followed by their remand into police custody for 14 days.

According to in-charge counter-terrorism department (CTD) Raja Umer Khattab, four personnel of the agency had been arrested and handed over to the respective police station.
According to police, Abrar had reached an agreement to sell his cellphone with a person identified as Dil Nawaz after placing an advertisement on a website. The two mutually decided upon a location in Saddar to complete the transaction.
The policemen upheld that they did not try to escape after the incident, however, they left the area after informing the area police.

However, when the time came Dil Nawaz took the cellphone in his possession and attempted to speed away in his car, which led to a chase with Abrar eventually managing to get inside Nawaz’s car.
When a police mobile stationed at Sindhi Muslim noticed the scuffle they opened fire on the car, killing Abrar and injuring Nawaz, a police spokesperson added.
