The Pakistan cricket team observed a minute's silence in memory of Abdul Sattar Edhi before the commencement of day two of their game against Sussex.



Wearing black armbands, the Pakistan cricket team found a fittingly way to show respect to Pakistan's most influential philanthropist.

Earlier, the nation's most prolific cricketers took to Twitter to pay tribute to Edhi. In his tweet, Ramiz mentioned how Edhi denied all the propositions of politics, colour, religion and terrorism just by serving one purpose — welfare of humanity.

In another tweet later, Ramiz wished that everyone could see the world as Edhi saw it.
