RAWALPINDI:

Four men were booked for allegedly torturing two shopkeepers within the Banni police jurisdiction on Tuesday. Abdullah lodged a complaint with the local police that Mardan and his three accomplices, who have yet to be identified, intercepted him and another shopkeeper, Imran, while they were travelling home on a motorbike and beat them up and also used abusive language against them over a minor issue. As a result, both the shopkeepers suffered multiple injuries and are under treatment at a local hospital. The police have registered a criminal case against the suspects and started an investigation.
