Expressing Respect: Consul general visits shrine

KASUR:  

United States Consul General Zachary Harkenrider visited the shrine of Baba Bulleh Shah in Kasur on Friday. He was received by historian Dr Kanwal Khalid who gave him a guided tour of the shrine. Consul General Harkenrider also attended a qawwali performance at the shrine. The visit was meant to advance both countries’ shared interest in promotion of indigenous cultures and to show respect to each other’s cultural and religious heritage.
